Kings League World Cup

Paris 2025 Edition

Company: Bazr
2025

The Brief

From June 1st to June 14th, Paris hosted the 2025 edition of the Kings League World Cup Clubs. 32 teams were involved, including 4 from Italy: Boomers, FC Zeta, Gear 7 FC and TRM BC.
As I worked with Bazr, one of the event’s main partners, I was tasked with the planning and execution of the whole live coverage of the sports cup on the sponsor’s channels.

Idea

The competition was documented through social content and a series of live interviews to the athletes, presidents of the teams and guest influencers. Each game’s MVP was invited to sign their team’s jersey, which then was sold on the Bazr app.

While live coverage happened at night, the days in Paris were used as an opportunity to broaden the storytelling with Off Kings: a video-series aimed at showing a different side of the experience and enriching the brand channels with lifestyle content. This allowed us showcase a wider variety of brands sold in the Bazr app, ranging from fashion to beauty and tech accessories.

World Cup Coverage

The key moments of the competition were told through a series of video-recaps, together with photo content on Instagram and IG Stories. A series of sport and lifestyle content creators were involved to host the interviews, cover the matches and be the face and voice of Bazr during the event. At the end of each game day, a live video on the Bazr app showcased the jerseys signed by the games’ MVPs, allowing people to purchase them.

We leveraged on Tik Tok trends to add variety to the storytelling and introduce our creators on social media.

Off-Kings Series

Sport content creators Dalila Stabile and Nicolas Cariglia became the protagonists of a video-series in 5 episodes in which they meet in Paris for the competition - Dalila as a host and Nicolas as a Kings League fan - and decide to explore the city together.

Each episode was created with the goal to showcase a selection of products available on the Bazr app, so that different videos can be targeted to different audience segments: fashion, skincare and make-up, sportswear, tech accessories. The series follows the steps of the championship: Dalila is a Kings League host in Italy and knows the competition inside and out, Nicolas is a match analyst and trains one the KL Italy’s teams.

The video-series was released on the Bazr app, while on the app’s social channels teaser videos and photo content were posted to launch each episode.
